The most direct route to Lakeside Country Guest House is from Junction 40 of the M6 and taking the A66 to Keswick. Bypassing Keswick itself and continue on the A66 for 8 miles with Bassenthwaite Lake on your right. 400 metres after the dual carriageway prepare to turn right at the sign for the Castle Inn, Dubwath and Embleton onto the B5291 and turn right again and you will notice in front of you to the left the sign for Lakeside Country Guest House.
